Elegant wedding at Balmoral: Sophie & John say “I Do”

On Friday, 3rd of January, Sophie and John celebrated their wedding at Balmoral, the historic home of Truffleduck in Fyansford, surrounded by 118 of their closest family and friends. It was a day marked by love, laughter, and timeless elegance.

The ceremony took place in our beautiful gardens, where soft natural light and picturesque surroundings created the perfect setting for the couple to exchange vows. Their vision for a classic and elegant wedding came to life effortlessly amidst the charm and character of Balmoral.

Guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the garden — and enjoyed a curated selection of Truffleduck canapés that set the tone for a relaxed yet refined celebration.

Dinner was served shared style, encouraging connection and conversation at each table. Our team crafted a menu that reflected the couple’s desire for warm hospitality and memorable flavours, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients throughout.

To finish, the couple’s wedding cake was roved with a selection of Truffleduck’s famous sweet pieces.

It was a joy to host Sophie and John’s wedding day at Truffleduck. Their celebration was a true reflection of classic romance, modern hospitality, and meaningful moments spent with loved ones.
