A stylish cocktail-style marquee wedding at Barunah Plains

Molly and Chris’s wedding at Barunah Plains was the ultimate blend of relaxed elegance and curated detail — a cocktail-style marquee celebration planned to perfection by Laura from Weddings of Desire, and brought to life with flavour and flair by Truffleduck.

Effortless romance in a picturesque setting

Set on the rolling plains of Western Victoria, the marquee was a vision of refined styling and warmth. With champagne flowing, live music playing, and guests mingling under golden skies, the atmosphere felt both elevated and easy — a true reflection of Molly and Chris.

A theatrical food experience guests loved

Food was central to the celebration. Roving canapés welcomed guests with bite-sized bursts of flavour, before two standout food stations stole the show.

The first: a vibrant Asian station, featuring fresh, bold flavours and share-friendly bites. The second: a signature pasta station, where chefs prepared silky pasta tossed live in a giant wheel of Parmesan — a dramatic and indulgent highlight that had guests returning for seconds (and photos!).

Each dish was crafted using premium local produce, served with the warmth and professionalism that Truffleduck is known for.

Late-night bites under the stars

As dancing took over, guests were treated to Truffleduck’s famous late-night bites — cheeseburger sliders and sausage rolls — the perfect finish to an unforgettable evening.
