From the very beginning the Truffleduck ethos was to deliver exceptional hospitality experiences, no matter what we did we did it with authenticity and a genuine love for great food and sharing it with others.
Thankfully our early cafe patrons loved the idea and flocked to James street to support and encourage us with their enthusiasm for something better.
So much so that they invited us into their homes to help them celebrate anything worth celebrating and thankfully there were a lot of people wanting to have fun and share life.
The natural transition was to bigger parties in bigger spaces and eventually public events and large corporate events which of course wer difficult from a small cafe in what was then, the centre of town.

Working with Truffleduck connects you with an extensive network of event hire specialists and trusted suppliers. Whatever you need, we can help make it happen – from the gorgeous and glamorous, like wedding gowns, florists, stylists, marquees, lighting, AV, DJs, and dance floors, to the practical essentials such as tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery, and glassware. We also take care of the not-so-glamorous (but equally important) items like generators, cool rooms, and porta-loos.
