Drinks

At Truffleduck we are very proud of the level of personalised service we offer you and your guests, this is no more evident than with our drink service. A staff ratio of one steward for every 30 guests ensures that guests are afforded a level of service (all our wines and beers are poured) normally associated with intimate dining.

The following drink packages have been put together to enable you to tailor the wines to suit your individual tastes and to compliment your chosen menu, allowing greater flexibility in your packages.

Option one is included as part of your wedding package, you may upgrade your wines at an additional cost per person, as stated below in each option. We have also listed the cost per person if you choose to extend your drinks package and service beyond the standard duration of a function.

Option 1

Killawara Sparkling, Stony Peak – Chardonnay, Shiraz Cabernet, Brown Bros Spatlese Lexia, Victoria Bitter or Carlton Draught (select one), Sterling, Soft Drinks, Mineral Water and Fruit Punch

Option 2

Killawarra Sparkling, Deakin Estate – Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon,
Brown Bros Spatlese Lexia, Victoria Bitter or Carlton Draught (select one), Cascade Light, Soft Drinks, Mineral Water and Fruit Punch.

Option 3

Yellow Glen Pinot Chardonnay Sparkling, Penfolds Private Bin, Chardonnay and Shiraz Cabernet, Brown Bros Spatlese Lexia, Crown Lager, Cascade Light, Soft Drinks, Mineral Water and Fruit Punch.

Option 4

Janz NV Sparkling, or Blue Pyrenees NV (select one), Hollicks Sparkling Merlot, Brown Bros Spatlese Lexia, James Boag Premium and James Boag Light, Soft Drink, Cape Grim (Tasmania) pure sparkling water and Fruit Punch.

Additional Information

Balmoral Receptions is a fully licensed venue and as such guests are not permitted to supply their own beverages. We are able to offer a range of Spirits, Cocktails, Mixers, Port etc which can be incorporated into your package at an additional cost or your guests are welcome to purchase them at bar prices during the function.

Our license ceases at 1.00 a.m. (except on Sundays - 11.00 p.m., Good Friday and Anzac Day – between 12.00 noon and 11.00 p.m.). Truffleduck is also licensed to provide and serve alcohol at other venues when catering your event.

Wine list availability is subject to change with vintages but every effort will be made to ensure requested wines are available.

Truffleduck is very proud to be associated with many of Geelong’s fabulous wineries and welcome the chance to showcase their wines, if you would like to include any of these wines into your reception please ask to see our Regional Wine List and allow us to incorporate your selections into your package.
