“Mick and I just wanted to say THANKYOU so much for making our wedding on Friday 11 February such a fabulously fun and smooth running occasion! We had heard such fantastic reviews about Truffleduck, the staff, food and service and we certainly were not disappointed in any way! All our guests have raved about the venue, the gorgeous green backdrop setting, fantastic service and (of course) the amazing food - and just what a great and fun time they had in general.
We also appreciate SO MUCH you letting us make the decision to hold our ceremony in your main room a mere 2 hours beforehand! It was such a relief to know that we had your venue as a backup, but I do not know of anywhere else that would permit the decision to change venue to be made so close to the ceremony time. I have raved to everyone I know about how fabulous it was knowing that we had you as a backup venue, and that you so easily and happily let us make the change as late in the day as we did. Given the shocking and unpredictable weather it was such a relief knowing we had you as our backup (and I was so relieved when I did finally make the decision to change). It was a beautiful setting for the ceremony and we are just so pleased with how everything panned out in the end.

Everyone had a great day, and absolutely loved the concept of having a catered lunch - especially with such fine food - the Salmon was just great - and that’s coming from a steak man. Dear Deb, I meant to write this on Monday but it has been a very busy week. I wanted to congratulate you and your staff on the excellent service and wonderful food we enjoyed on Saturday. I can only imagine the enormous amount of planning and work that went into the evening and you are all deserving of the highest praise. As usual Truffleduck has delivered impeccably. Every staff member was attentive and professional.( We were on table 19 so an extra thankyou to the staff who looked after us). I hope you have had time to draw breath, but I guess not. Hi Deb, Yes we have arrived safely back in the UK to reasonable weather. Tim arrives here later this week, so we are very excited. Next week we take him off to Ireland for the week and then the next week off to the South of France, so we are having a great time and hope that Tim will as well. We had a simply amazing night for Tim’s birthday (he was just so happy) and it was all up to the wonderful food and great staff we had on the night. Yet again it was a wonderful time had by all, we have had such great feedback on the food and staff and given your name and number to three people who were most impressed. Hi Debra, Many thanks for the wonderful luncheon you provided for my mother’s 80th birthday. The food was enjoyed by all, especially the beautiful Gingerfluff birthday cake! The dining room was the perfect, warm and intimate atmosphere for the occasion and we all loved sitting around the one big table setting. David and Cheryl were wonderful hosts and made everyone feel very relaxed and spoilt. Please pass on my thanks to Margie who was very thoughtful in her planning suggestions for the day. The little extra touches, such as catering arrangements for our youngest guest Neve and the idea of Mum taking home the fresh flowers on the cake, makes Truffleduck stand out as an extra special venue for extra special celebrations!
